“LVPHG” is an ode to the city of Vadodara for its cultural legacy and the traditions it upholds. Organised by Shree Maharani Chimnabai Stree Udyogalya in association, LVPHG is also a platform to rise up and reach out to multiple societal causes. Being the first inclusive religious dance festival in the world, it is an embodiment of the spirit of inclusiveness and equality. And, with the Royal Family of Vadodara, the Gaekwads being the torchbearers that of this tradition, LVPHG is no more just an event, it’s a true celebration of culture with a strong cause!

EMPOWERED WOMEN EMPOWER WOMEN

SHRI MAHARANI CHIMNABAI STREE UDYOGALAYA has an esteemed history to be re-told. Deemed as a prestigious women’s institution it was envisioned and spearheaded by Maharani Chimnabai II to develop enterprise among the womenfolk of Baroda state. The queen yearned to give the women a platform to explore their creativity, learn vocational skills and earn a livelihood.

Maharaja Fatehsingh Museum

Located within the sprawling Lakshmi Vilas Palace Estate, the museum showcases art pieces that belong to the illustrious Maratha family. European Renaissance and Rococo paintings, portraits, marble busts, and a collection of portraiture by Raja Ravi Verma (more than 30 original paintings) are part of the collection.

Beauty Parlour Course

Students become certified makeup and hair artist. They learn different aspects of makeup, hairstyling, skincare solutions, flawless makeup techniques, covering skin blemishes, threading and body grooming. They can work privately by opening their beauty salons, work under beauty professional or provide home consultation for their clients.

Garba with purpose

At Lukshmi Vilas Palace, tradition seamlessly merges with progress during the annual Lukshmi Vilas Palace Heritage Garba. This vibrant event, organised by Shree Maharani Chimnabai Stree Udhyogaylaya, serves as both a celebration of culture and a plattorm for fundraising The event revolves around four core pillars: cause, cuisine, craft, and culture, bringing the community together for nine nights of Garba, a joyous circle dance honouring Goddess Durga during Navratri. Beyond the dance, this event serves a noble purpose by supporting artisans, promoting diverse forms of art, empowering marginalised women, and championing the principle of inclusivity.
